The Circle's Fall 2022 Fundraiser

The Circle was born in 1980 at the Minneapolis American Indian Center in Minnesota. Since then, The Circle has published monthly on a non-stop basis for these past 42 years. We have seen many editors, writers, and photographers come and go, but the overall mission of The Circle remains the same, "The Circle is dedicated to presenting news from a Native American perspective, while granting an equal opportunity to community voices." 

Over the past 4 decades The Circle has covered everything from tribal corruption issues that were rampant on reservations, to the attacks on our sovereignty as Indigenous people, to the election of Native women into high places in Minnesota politics as well as national positions.
