Thrive! Family Recovery Resources (Thrive!) provides families of those who have substance use issues with support and evidence-based information so they are equipped and empowered to make real changes that move their loved one (and their entire family) toward wellness.

Thrive! believes families should be one of the most valued and utilized resources in the recovery ecosystem.  Research demonstrates that when families follow evidence-based intervention methods, it reduces harm and significantly increases their loved one entering treatment and remaining sober.

Programs include support groups, one-on-one peer support, educational workshops, assistance with finding appropriate and ethical treatment, and a Helpline.

Thrive! is the first family-based recovery organization in the nation and the only one in the state of Minnesota.

Thrive! Family Recovery Resources works to bring hope to families impacted by substance use, end the stigma of addiction and reduce overdose deaths by creating a world where recovery is not only possible but probable, for the entire family.

Thrive! provides families with REAL support and REAL solutions!

Other impact stories:

"Because of Thrive and their staff's guidance and support, our family went from not having any contact with our son, to a place where we were able to keep him safe, advocate for him and within just a few months, drive him to treatment.  He is now well on his way to recovery thanks to the support of Thrive!" R & S, Thrive group attendees

"I believe Thrive saved our son's life and saved our family. Our son was deep in his addiction and suicidal. We were at the end of our rope and didn't know what to do.  Through the guidance of our Thrive! Family Peer Recovery Specialist, we engaged him in medicated assisted treatment and today he is 4 1/2 years in long-term recovery and our family is fully restored." Scott, a Thrive community member

"Your workshops have been just the thing to get me centered in loving kindness and breaking myself away from fear and catastrophizing. I've also learned effective communication skills and how to better use boundaries and agreements. We're getting there!"  Thrive educational workshop attendee
