The Friends of the Farmers Golf and Health Club was created in 2020. Their core mission is to support improvements and programs for the course that are outside of the daily operating budget. As a subsidiary of the Redwood Area Communities Foundation, all contributions are tax deductible.
This specific campaign is for raising funds to remove over 200 Ash trees on the FGHC golf course due to the Ash Borer Disease. We intend to hire someone to plant approximately 100 new trees and keep them watered throughout the first year. We also plan to try to save about 20 Ash trees that are vital to where they are located for the course layout with a chemical treatment plan.
