2024 Year-End Fundraiser

Simply put, 2024 was a banner year for River Bend! This was our first year operating under our new strategic plan which helped us guide our work and engage new, more diverse audiences in the ongoing care of River Bend and our surrounding green spaces. Together, we engaged over 10,000 environmental learners to become better conservationists through our environmental education and green career exploration programs. This was also the first year of our new operating agreement with the City of Faribault enabling us to make more capital investments in the nature center including a new roof, a solar panel array, accessibility improvements and more. 

A successful 2024 end of year campaign will mean being able to get a jump start on planned 2025 investments including addressing 2024 flood damage, replacing our ash canopy, and better tacking wild parsnip. Beyond our land stewardship, your support will help us roll out new interpretive displays, program curriculum updates, along with better signage and wayfinding along our trails in 2025.
