AEDs at EGH

Being a Direct Support Professional requires a wide diversity of skills. DSPs are part nurse, part chef, part counselor, part chauffeur, and, possibly, part Emergency Medical Technician.

When a person we serve has a cardiac emergency, we want the EGH team member to have all the tools necessary to act and to save a life.

We're trained every two years in CPR. Part of that training includes use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). 

Your donation will help us obtain AEDs for each of our EGH locations, enabling our staff a much better opportunity to save a life.

Please do what you can to support our DSPs in doing the work of heroes. You'll empower someone who has dedicated their life to service, and you might save the life of someone we support.
