$75,000 goal
This Give to the Max Day, we invite our supporters to help us bring hope and critical support to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. With your generosity, we aim to raise $75,000 to fund mobile advocacy and increase our ability to meet survivors wherever they are, whether on the streets, in encampments, or in underserved communities throughout the Ramsey, Washington, and Anoka county regions.
We are excited to announce that we recently acquired a new mobile outreach van. This vehicle will allow us to expand our reach and meet survivors directly, removing barriers to accessing services and offering immediate care where it is needed most.
With your help, we will:
- Provide essential supplies such as hygiene kits, food, and clothing
- Offer advocacy services, including help with Orders for Protection (OFPs)
- Connect survivors to housing, healthcare, and trauma-informed resources
- Serve marginalized communities that often lack access to traditional support
Every dollar you give brings us closer to safety and freedom for survivors in need.
Why Mobile Advocacy Matters
Many survivors remain unseen and are unable to access the resources they deserve. Through mobile outreach, we meet them where they are, including in the Ramsey, Washington and Anoka Couty regions.
Our advocacy is available without requiring documentation or citizenship. This is essential to public health and safety because over 90 percent of the people we serve are adults, a population often overlooked by programs that prioritize youth through Safe Harbor.

Breaking Free’s Commitment
Our work ensures that survivors have access to the support they need. A majority of our clients are BIPOC, and 20 percent identify as LGBTQIA+. We also service over 60 families in our housing program, including the children of survivors. Your support will make trauma-informed services accessible to these populations through our new mobile outreach van, allowing us to connect with survivors who might otherwise go unseen.
