Remember the Rez Dogs

In a time when the world is so different...Rescuing on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Reservations remains rather unchanged. Every day dogs need help. Every day dogs need to come into rescue. And every day we do that. It has not stopped. We are an essential service to these two Reservations that encompass 4000 square miles. A big job for any time. A bigger job for now.

For almost 8 years, the majority of the dogs we bring into our care and get on the road to good health, find their forever homes with families in Minnesota. The dogs lives are changed and so are the humans who encounter these special spirits.

And in this special time of fundraising, we ask you to consider helping us help the Rez Dogs.

As a really tough winter is here, we ask you to partner with us in meeting the medical needs and Veterinarian processing of the dogs and cats we rescue.

And because we bring into rescue an average of 8 animals a day, almost every day of the year, that adds up tp nearly 3,000 rescued and relocated. 2021 was no exception. We rescued every single day. That is a tremendous number to be safe and sound and out of the reproduction cycle on these two reservations. it's a big job.

It takes the help of five veterinarians to get this done.
