Royal Guard Performing Arts is proud to announce the launch of the Royal Guard All-Age Winter Color Guard! This NEW ensemble will begin performing in January 2025 at winter color guard competitions and events in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
We invite you to learn a bit about our story and why we do what we do...
Royal Guard Performing Arts was organized in the spring of 2019. From 2020-2023 we supported programming for youth and young adults.
In 2023, the organization went through a transition and decided to take a break from programming to re-evaluate our direction.
During that exciting time of discovery, we were approached by a group of young adults who wanted to continue to perform but no longer met the age requirements of the color guard organizations in our communities.
These individuals also wanted to continue their education in the marching arts, continue developing their skills, all while becoming better instructors, designers and administrators for other performing arts organizations.
After further discussion, it did not take us long to realize what we needed to do next. The answer was right in front of us!
We knew we needed to offer programming to adults of all ages and provide them a safe and fun place to perform, express their creativity, develop leadership skills, develop meaningful relationships and continue their education in the performing and marching arts.
The enthusiasm for this new group has been inspiring, and we are so happy we found the gap to fill.
Our goal is to keep participation fees reasonable so that membership and programming are accessible to all who want to participate.
As we are an independent organization, we are fully funded by membership fees, donations, sponsorships and fundraising proceeds. Your donations and/or matching gifts will help us purchase new equipment, rent gym space for rehearsals, hire program designers, clinicians, educators and instructional staff, purchase costumes, props, and more.
Every dollar will make a difference in the experience we will be able to provide for our members, staff, audiences and students.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 through the 2024 GTMD Campaign. Thank you for your support and for considering a donation and/or matching gifts to our mission.
If you are supporting us in honor of a current member, please note their name in the "Dedication" field on the donation form. Our members are helping to promote this campaign, and we want to thank them too!
We hope to see you at a performance this winter. Visit our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
