Qhia Dab Neeg Film Festival
Project for IN PROGRESS

honoring Hmong stories through the art of film and video

The Qhia Dab Neeg (storytelling) Film Festival is a celebration of Hmong storytelling that carries with it the intent of honoring the history, tradition and culture of the Hmong through the art of film and video.  The festival was awarded $10,000 in match grant funds for the 2017 festival and we have more than $5000 raised through local fundraising efforts.  But we have a long ways to go to meet our match.  We are currently asking friends and festival supporters to make a donation to the Give to the Max Day - this coming Thursday, November 17th!  Our goal is to raise $1,500 in individual donations by this date and you can help us make this goal.

The 2017 Film Festival will take place June 2017.  The event is free and everyone is welcome to join us for this amazing storytelling project.
