WORKABILITIES, INC  

• WorkAbilities, Inc is a publicly-funded, private, not-for-profit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. WorkAbilities is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a "Day Training & Habilitation Services" provider (DT & H), and has operated under a contract with Hennepin County since 1954.  WorkAbilities also provides Pre-Vocational and Structured Day services under this contract with Hennepin County.
• WorkAbilities employs over 200 workers and  we provide a reliable and dependable work force. We are competitive in our bids with every piece quality checked. We have great customer retention due to our commitment to excellence. We stand behind our work and value great customer service. Low costs and quick turnaround contribute to our success.
• WorkAbilities provides services that are unique in that we are able to provide training and support to adults with developmental disabilities with the widest range of needs and abilities.  We accomplish this through four separate groups, each with its own program focus and staffing capability. Clients are provided paid work opportunities, (primarily in-center with community job sites available), opportunities to volunteer within our community as well as work skill training to develop and maintain skills.  Activities are offered that focus on social and recreational skills as well as functional independence.  Clients across all four groups enjoy a wide variety of community events as well!
