We know that all families of children with special needs and disabilities, despite differences in income, education level, race, culture or religion:

• Hunger for information about our child’s special need
• May be confused about what services are available and how to obtain them
• May feel drained, discouraged and isolated

The Windmill Project connects families of children with special needs and disabilities to each other and to appropriate resources and services.

The Windmill Project Exists To:

Provide Family members with information through:

• one-on-one or small groups
• workshops, print or video materials
• email, websites, webinars

Develop peer networks between families and individuals to supply:

• emotional support and mutual encouragement
• informal mentoring and friendships

Opening new doors of opportunity by building partnerships with:

• organizations
• community groups
• businesses
• individuals
