Wildlife Forever's Prairie City USA program works to address the loss of  pollinators, prairie habitat, and climate change in Minnesota and across the United States. 

The mission of Prairie City USA is “Building stronger communities through integrated prairie habitat, conservation best practices, and civic leadership.” The program was created out of need to restore the benefits of prairie ecosystems to the landscape. Less than 1% of prairie habitat remains, due to urban development and agricultural land use. Grassland birds have declined by 53%.  Fragmentation has resulted in the drastic reduction and endangerment of wildlife and pollinators that depend on prairie for survival.  

Your support today will help us grow this important program to engage more cities across Minnesota and beyond. Through nature based solutions, and programs like Prairie City USA, together we can make Minnesota communities stronger and more resilient.
