At the Wirth Center, our goal is to create an environment where our students can reach their full potential, guided by teachers who are supported in their art form, together bringing meaningful arts experiences to our community.  Our students learn the importance of the performing arts, the depth and meaning of their chosen art, grow academically and emotionally from their study. Our teaching artists are supported as they grow new programs and concerts, given a safe haven dedicated to the arts where they can take risks and flourish, and ultimately are able to make a living via the education offerings of their art.   Our audiences are musically enriched from the diversity of our concert programming, and they benefit from the musical community that is gathered around our performing students.  Art allows people to express themselves, and art helps people better understand each other.  Live art experiences bring the community together, united in a love for the arts and a sense of pride of the local arts scene.

We provide music and dance lessons to over 400 students each year. We teach students of all ages, skill levels, and abilities, interested in music and dance.  Our teachers tailor instruction to fit the diverse interests and needs of the student, focusing on performance literacy, technique, performance, and core fundamentals.  The students set their goals and the teachers help them meet those goals. 

Serving central Minnesota and the Twin Cities, our history is marked by the success of our students and the inspiration of our teachers. We are a fast growing, nationally recognized performing arts community and we'd love for you to be part of it! We are located on the third floor of The Mary Center, behind St. Mary's Cathedral, in historic downtown St. Cloud, Minnesota.
