Washburn Millers Gymnastics Booster Club

Our Minneapolis Washburn Millers Gymnastics team is excited for the 2019-2020 season and have been training hard this summer.  They are looking forward to defending their Minneapolis City Conference Championship.  In 2019, they also broke records on bars, beam and floor!  

As the Gymnastics Booster Club looked forward to this year, we realized that our competition leos are 6 YEARS OLD.  As you can imagine, it will be challenging for the district to purchase new ones in the near future.  

We are looking for support from friends, families and the greater Washburn community to give what they can! 

Did you know that 1 Competition Leo can cost between $150-$200 dollars? The one that our coach, Payton has designed will cost $170 per leo and it looks amazing (see the picture below)!

Any funds raised above our leo goal of $3500 will be used towards meals for the girls at meets and snacks for their 1 hour roundtrip bus ride to/from practice, as well as other costs that aren't covered by the district.  

The girls are also working hard on raising money through the Booster Club for team outings and volunteering events to build a strong community with each other.  We also use our fundraising funds to help us pay for warm-up jackets, gymnastics bags, Sr. Night, Parent Appreciation Night, End of Year Season Banquet and most importantly, student academic and athletic awards.
