Waconia Wrestling Club

Waconia Wrestling Club is a 501c3 nonprofit private club association that serves approximately 160-200 kids (PreK-12th grade) annually across our youth and high school programs in the Waconia, MN area through year-round wrestling programs, training, competitions, scholarships/grants and other opportunities. It is our mission to help athletes develop a passion for the sport of wrestling, to help them reach their full potential as wrestlers on the mat and student athletes off the mat and to have our athletes adhere to the highest ideals of DISCIPLINE, COMMITMENT, and SPORTSMANSHIP.  

2024 Give to the Max Campaign: This year's Waconia Wrestling Club GTTM goal is $5,000 which will help fund several important initiatives. Giving begins on November 1st and will continue through November 21st. Contributions to this campaign will go towards the following needs and goals:

1. Scholarship & Grant Programs - Funding toward scholarships for graduating seniors (wrestlers & managers) planning to attend college and need/merit-based scholarships for K-12th graders across our club/high school programs.
2. Growing Girls Wrestling Expansion - Funding will help continue to grow/offer open mats, clinics and bringing in resources for our K-12th grade girls wrestling program.
3. Upgrade/Purchase of Team Uniforms - Investment in new team uniforms for 7-12th grade program.
4. Livestream Capabilities - Funding of equipment, software and operating costs to continue to offer free broadcasts of youth and high school events to all the fans of Waconia Wrestling.
5. Maintaining Affordability in Youth & Club Programs - Contributions will persist in subsidizing the registration fees for club programs, allowing children and families from diverse backgrounds to develop within the sport.

Help Us Reach Our $5k Goal To Unlock the Following INCENTIVES by 11/21:

If we reach $3,000 raised...Coaches will host a FREE ice cream party following the youth / club girls practices 

If we reach $4,000 raised...Coach Neil Vos will dye his hair blond (or purple) for the club & Coach Nick Hackman will treat the 7-12th team to a free breakfast in lieu of an upcoming morning practice in December or January. 

If we reach $5,000 raised...Coach Neil Vos will shave his head into a Mohawk hair style. We are also seeking to organize a “super match” to be refereed & showcased at practice between our club coaches or wrestling dads.
