Each summer, Camp Hiawatha and Camp Vermilion strive to provide opportunities for Christ-centered spiritual growth for campers of all ages, digging into Bible stories and inviting the tough questions. Activities are designed to develop leaders, giving campers a chance to lead a song at campfire, stern a canoe, or be gracious in a Capture the Flag defeat. Our staff work to instill confidence so campers can take what they have learned and experienced at camp back to their families, communities, and congregations.

This doesn't always happen right away - sometimes it can take a few days for campers to feel comfortable standing in front of a group or speaking up during Bible study. That is why we work hard to make camp a place of grace - that safe place to learn, explore, and grow while surrounded by a supportive, loving community.
