Visitation School

ABOUT VISITATION

Visitation School, located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, is an independent Catholic school for boys and girls in Montessori preschool through fifth grade and a college preparatory school for young women in grades sixth through twelve. Following the teachings of St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal, Visitation encourages the Salesian virtues of patience, gentle strength, humility and optimism. The school's motto is "Non Scholae, Sed Vitae" which translates as "Not for School; but for Life."

Since 1873, Visitation has been providing an excellent education within a Catholic environment permeated by Salesian Spirtituality and the living tradition of the Visitation Sisters. The Sisters of the Visitation and the Board of Trustees believe that every student who gains admission to Visitation should be able to attend, regardless of their family’s financial status.
