Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation

The Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation was established to support the Vadnais Heights Lions Club and its numerous activities. This is an all-volunteer organization that shares in the goals and visions of Lions International: “To empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding.”

The Foundation has been certified as a nonprofit 501(c)(3)
organization whose mission is “striving to improve the quality of life in our community through humanitarian services”. The Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation is committed to serving our community and other Lions causes.

One of our main initiatives is the management and financing of the Vadnais Heights Community Food Program (Food Shelf). In addition, we provide hearing aid and eye glass assistance to residents, free blood sugar screening for diabetes and free vision screening. We also support senior programs and scholarship programs for students. We support community events such as Vadnais Heights Days and manage our own Waffle Breakfasts in the Spring and Fall.

This all volunteer operation serves residents and their families in times of need.  

During the Holiday season, in addition to food, we provide toys for the children of those families in need.
