Support Campus Ministry!

During Baptism, our faith communities promise to support the baptized in their lives in Christ. We know that promise gets harder to live into after students leave high school, but University Episcopal Community (UEC) is here to support churches in keeping that promise to young adults.

For this year’s Give to the Max Day on November 21st, we ask for your help funding some of the ministries that help us keep that promise.

Here are a few we’re really excited about::

  • Replace housing insecurity with intentional community by subsidizing the rent for the seven student-leaders who live at 417 House.

  • Equip the next generation of faith leaders by supporting our student internship fund which funds our peer ministers, small group leaders, community meal planners and musicians.

  • Deepen connections between Campus Ministry and Episcopal Churches like yours through the creation of a Campaign Coordinator role. This new role will help connect your high school grads with campus ministry opportunities & connect your church with opportunities to volunteer and serve.

  • Create the Riverside Lounge! We’re excited to partner with the Presbyterian Synod in creating a combination Chapel/Free Restaurant/Jiu Jitsu Studio. (seriously!)  We can’t wait to see how this experiment can offer a faith-rooted, love-filled hangout for college students!

Together, we can ensure that every young adult remains connected, supported, and inspired as they navigate the challenges of adulthood, truly keeping our baptismal promise alive.

Our Goal(s)!

The UEC meets students where they are– literally!--all over the state of Minnesota!

Choose your giving level for our 2024 Give to the Max Day campaign, #KeepingOurPromiseUEC, and get a glimpse of the way we engage with young people:

Here are some examples of giving levels that might help you discern your giving benchmark:

$500 - Student Internship: Supporting one student for one semester with an internship that helps them get vocational clarity, and supports the life of our community.

$1000 - Support Student Housing: Subsidizing living costs for one semester for one student at the 417 House.

$1500 - Support Sunday Gatherings: Feed a meal to hungry students at our Dinner Church gatherings for a whole semester.

$2500- Designing the Riverside Lounge: Support a team of interns with the resources they need to create a welcoming study space for their neighbors.
