Turkish American Association of Minnesota

Turkish American Association of Minnesota, also known as TAAM, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a deeper and broader understanding of Turkish culture, language, arts, music, dance, and cuisine in Minnesota. As a culture bearer, TAAM predominantly aims to be the bridge between the older and younger generations of Turkish Minnesotans, for younger generations to have a better comprehension of  their heritage, language, and traditions. Turkish American Association of Minnesota also aims to bring people from many diverse backgrounds together and build a a passageway between different cultures in Minnesota. 

As well as being a cultural ambassador, TAAM has been the back bone of the Turkish-American community in Minnesota by always extending a helping hand to many other Turkish people, who would come to Minnesota from Turkey, Europe or from other states in the United States, for new and life altering circumstances such as college education, attending graduate school, new jobs, or temporary stays due to conferences or conventions. 

We are honored to continue being the culture bearer of our Turkish American community here in Minnesota.
