Support our Holiday Program by donating today!!
Every year, Transforming Generations brings the community together so we can support victim/survivors and families impacted by violence during the holidays. For many, it's their first holiday at their new house after leaving a situation, or its their first year without their kids or their partner. It may be a hard year for our LGBTQ+ community members who are away from their biological family or a youth who can't be with their family this holiday. Whatever the case, being together with one another is such an important time for all of us during this time and super healing! You can be a part of this too! Please help to support our Holiday Program Fund so we can ensure that families and individuals we work with are held. Make a donation that is meaningful to you.

Who is Transforming Generations?
Transforming Generations (TG) was founded in 2016 by Hmong Advocates who saw that there was a dire need for culturally specific services for Hmong victims/survivors of gender-based violence. In 2019, TG officially opened its door as a 501c(3) organization with a mission to organize, educate, and transform cultural and power dynamics to end gender-based violence.
Our program areas include:
Queer Justice Program - providing support and healing spaces for our LGBTQ+ community members, advocacy services such as support with name changes, resource navigation and connection, court accompaniment among other services.
Youth Program - providing pro-social, preventative programs for youth as well as advocacy services
Advocacy Program - supporting victim/survivors of domestic violence/sexual violence such as court accompaniment, filling out orders for protection/restraining order, accompaniment to SANE exams, counseling among many other services.
Txiv Neej Yawg Program - providing education groups for Hmong men who have caused harm or used violence as means to control or exert power over their partner and children.
Holistic Healing - currently TG provides talk therapy and support groups with the hopes of expanding our healing services to include more culturally specific healing modalities.
