Celebrate Our Most Iconic Exhibit: The K'NEX Racer!

This Give to the Max Day, we’re celebrating one of The Works Museum’s most iconic exhibits—the K'NEX Racer! For over a decade, the K'NEX Racer has sparked creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in young minds. As kids build, test, and race their K'NEX creations, they explore key engineering principles like balance, structure, and design. It’s a hands-on learning experience that brings STEM to life!

This year, your donation will do more than just support The Works Museum’s mission to engage kids in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)—it will also give you an exclusive opportunity to race into fun at an upcoming Kids K'NEX Derby! 

Unlock the Kids K’NEX Derby

We need 50 individual donors to help unlock this exciting event. Once our goal is reached, we’ll finalize the date for the Kids K'NEX Derby, where participants will dive into engineering challenges and experience creative, interactive learning. Your gift supports vital programs like our interactive workshops, outreach initiatives, and special events that make STEM education accessible and fun for kids.

Donation Levels:

$25 – Entry for one child and one guardian to the Kids K'NEX Derby

$50 – Entry for two children and one guardian to the Kids K'NEX Derby

$75 – Entry for one child and two guardians, plus a special edition Kids K'NEX Derby T-shirt

$100 – Entry for up to two children and two guardians, and two special edition Kids K'NEX Derby T-shirts

$250 – Playtime Pack for up to eight kids and up to two adults per child at The Works Museum, plus four Kids K'NEX Derby T-shirts and four derby entries*

$500 – Playtime Pack for up to 15 kids and up to two adults per child, plus four Kids K'NEX Derby T-shirts and four derby entries*

$1,000 – Private playtime for up to 25 kids and up to two adults per child at The Works Museum before it opens, plus four Kids K'NEX Derby T-shirts and four derby entries*
