2024 was another record-breaking year for this community. We saw historic and catastrophic rainfall and flooding across our state, yet you helped move more dollars to farmers and food to Minnesotans than ever before, proving that we are rooted in growth and here for good.

The incredibly challenging start to the year highlighted the critical need for our work. As farmers recovered from washed-out crops and fields, we met them with flexible purchasing to buy what was available versus holding them to rigid contracts. At the end of October, we reached $2,000,000 in spending with 150 farmers and food producers. Over 70% went to hunger relief partners and K-12 schools. This is more than a milestone – it’s an investment in our neighbors and a thriving, equitable Minnesota food system.
