How can you help?

SSC has recently moved to a new location and would love to build a sensory room for our clients! The purpose of a sensory room is to provide a safe and controlled space to help people with sensory processing issues, developmental disabilities, or learning difficulties interact with the world around them! The sensory room at SSC will be sure to include a variety of equipment so an individual can create a space that is unique to their needs.

What difference will The Sunshine Social Club make?

The Sunshine Social Club's mission is to help fill the need for more day support services in Prior Lake and the surrounding communities. A place where people are given the opportunity to continue to learn, grow, and make social connections just like their peers but in the supervised environment that they need. This program will also provide great comfort and support for the individual's family and/or caregiver when they see that the community recognizes and values those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their unique contributions.
