We believe that every child deserves to feel loved, our goal is to help women create stable home environments by coming alongside families with support, education, and mentoring.
Supporting Single Moms in Dakota and Scott County, MN
One-on-One Mentoring: Each mom in our program is paired with a volunteer mentor who offers encouragement, practical advice, and companionship. Together, they set goals, create budgets, and share life’s moments—whether meeting for coffee, visiting a park, or simply chatting. These relationships often blossom into lasting friendships.
Educational Meetings: Our bi-monthly meetings feature community speakers on topics like budgeting, parenting, and self-care. These gatherings not only educate but also foster connections among moms, building a supportive network.
Goal Setting: Moms collaborate with their mentor to create personalized plans. Mentors help guide them toward achieving their goals, and we connect them to additional resources as needed.Community
Resources: When unique needs arise, we link moms to local services like childcare, car repair, therapy, or financial counseling. They also have access to our food shelf and limited crisis funding.Your support helps empower single moms to achieve self-sufficiency!
