About Us

The Friends of the Heritage Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization. It is the fundraising partner of the Lakeville Heritage Library. 

Our goal is to build awareness, appreciation and support of our library. And we share the library’s mission of cultivating community, creativity and learning.

Working together, we strive to serve as a catalyst, connector and partner to empower residents of all ages to learn, grow and build a successful community. 

Some of initiatives the Friends of the Heritage Library helps to support include:

  • Annual Book Sale Fundraiser
  • Author Events
  • Library Travel Series
  • Winter Arts Program
  • ISD 194 Ready Set Achieve
  • Summer Reading Program for Children and Teens
  • Community Art Day
