In this time of discord, uncertainty, and confusion, Jesus continues to offer himself as the source of true peace and comfort. At TCJHOP, we believe intimacy with God through worship and intercession based on His Word is essential to the furthering of one’s healing and fuels our ministry to others. As we encounter God in worship and prayer, and grow in our submission to Jesus Christ, we also grow in friendship with and love for God. It is in relationship with Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives that we are healed and transformed.

Our desire is to see worship and intercession established in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul to offer Jesus Christ unceasing praise, while contending for justice—proclaiming the good news to the poor, binding up the brokenhearted, proclaiming freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1). 

Over the past year, one of our regular support groups was able to continue meeting, and a second has restarted this fall. We are also supporting churches who are starting their own discipleship groups using new resources we have been able to create for that purpose. And, we continue to meet with folks one-on-one for discipleship and mentoring.

Still, the late summer has been the start of a rough season for us financially. Giving is down everywhere, and we feel the change keenly. In order to continue to bring peace, comfort, hope, and healing to our community, we are working to expand our base of support by inviting new people to give to and pray for the ministry. This support will help bridge our 2024 giving gap, as well as provide for regular prayer room hours, equipping classes, and support groups for those that are hurting.
