Stevens County Food Shelf

A nonprofit organization

$9,303 raised by 55 donors

The Stevens County Food Shelf serves persons experiencing food insecurity and those with supplemental food needs.

The Stevens County Food Shelf was established in 1986 as an independent, non-profit organization. Our goal is to provide a variety of nutritious food options to individuals and families in our community. Clients are always treated with courtesy and respect.  All are welcome to visit us!

We are fortunate to be a part of a supportive and generous community. Our operations rely on food drives organized by civic organizations and local churches. Cash donations and various grants allow us to purchase food from the North Country Food Bank and local suppliers to meet needs not met in donations.

The Stevens County Food Shelf strives to be open and welcoming to all members of our community. Active outreach and changing needs in the community resulted in a dramatic increase in visits to the Stevens County Food Shelf in 2022.

We are staffed entirely by volunteers and are open one hour a day, 5 days a week.  The hours are Monday 2:30-3:30 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-6:30 PM, and Wednesday & Friday. 10:30-11:30 AM. Additional visits can be made upon request.

The Food Shelf is located at 701 Iowa Ave., Morris MN.
