OUR MISSION

Saint James Coffee Shop brings Christ into the lives of everyday people and customers while enjoying a fantastic cup of one-sourced Coffee and locally made pastries! Everything is provided by our community for our community.  

Our Adoration Chapel provides a space to pray and prepare to face the challenges of the day.

We aren't associated with any Church or Parish, through we are oriented around Catholic Social Teachings.

ABOUT US

Our coffee shop is named after Saint James the Greater, one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ. We opened in 2011 in Rochester, MN after years of fundraising and preparation by local Catholic community members. We are not affiliated with any Parish, Clergyman, or Church community.

At Saint James Coffee, we welcome every individual and will join them for a prayer and encouragement as they face their daily challenges. Discussion about God, Theology, and our individual faith journey is not only encouraged, it’s sought out here! 

OUR COFFEE

Trail Creek Coffee, a local roaster who buys their beans directly from the coffee farmers across the globe, provides all our coffee. We serve pastries and food from Sweet House Bakery- a new, and delicious local bakery, as well as specialty drinks, chocolates, salads, sandwiches, and other treats.

GIFT SHOP

Religious and spiritual oriented gifts are sold here. From Rosaries, holiday and greeting cards, OreMoose Leather goods, honey, jams, books and more!

BEYOND ST JAMES

Saint James coffee doesn’t just restrict itself to its four walls. We have partnered with Ed Ventures Travel Agency to facilitate pilgrimages to Jerusalem, Rome, Greece, Spain among other locations that make the Bible come to life!
