Seven County Senior Federation

Seven County Senior Federation (SCSF) is a small, independent, member-led nonprofit organization of older adults. 

We have been a positive force in the neighborhood since 1975, and we are the last Minnesota senior federation standing – and we’re here to stay! We are a network of older adults in the east-central Minnesota counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine.   

We like to say, “The Older You Get, The Smarter We Look!”

SCSF offers community, peace of mind, real people answering the phone when you call.  Plus, we give older adults a collective voice to advocate for better choices for the next generations of older adults.

People beat a path to our door for our experienced, helpful explainers: we offer group or one-on-one counseling to explore Medicare and Social Security, screening for program eligibility, referral to useful and money-saving programs like 55+ safe driver courses and AARP Foundation tax-aide appointments.  We can untangle seemingly intractable billing issues, find answers, and we can help you access online resources.

And...

For income-eligible Medicare beneficiaries, our Medicare Partners program (formerly “Senior Partners Care”) effectively streamlines charity care at many participating hospitals and clinics statewide.  

Our ECHOES newspaper is a member benefit and connection to social events, volunteer openings, discounts and good information.

Our elected board of delegates are older adults who live in and represent one of our seven counties. Would you like to be one of them? Just ask!
