Every girl has unique interests, talents and passions that give her energy and joy. Discovering what they are can make the difference between feeling empowered and feeling lost.

Saving Grace Village was founded in 2011 to empower girls to discover their gifts in a safe, nurturing and creative environment. During a three-day retreat in a 535-acre Northwood’s sanctuary, mentors lead girls through programs for the mind, body and soul with an emphasis on health and wellness. The weekend gives the girls the chance to make new friends, explore new activities and learn something about themselves. They participate in group activities such as campfire songs, creative activities such as cake decorating, painting and dancing, and self-reflection exercises such as journaling and meditation. During a recent retreat one girl said, “I didn’t realize I was good at so many things.” That positive self-affirmation is exactly what we are striving to accomplish at Saving Grace Village.

We are committed to making sure a stay at Saving Grace Village makes a positive impact on each of our guests. A retreat like ours isn’t financially accessible to many of the girls we are targeting, which is why your contribution makes all the difference. Your support will help us to offer our weekends free or at a minimal cost so we can reach and empower as many girls as possible.
