Save the Rookery

A Great Blue Heron nesting site (rookery) and contiguous forest near Rochester, Minnesota is in danger of being destroyed by development.  Help us save the remainder of this critical habitat. 

The herons have left for the season, but Save the Rookery remains active! We are driving the conversation in local elections towards environmental and conservation topics, and we are planning local youth activities to engage with nature and look at ways of protecting and recreating rookeries and other natural habitats that are damaged from natural and human damage.
