This past year, dozens and dozens of events, ministries, and programs brought encouragement and hope to the people of Saron and the Big Lake area. There is so much that seeks to tear us down and pull us apart. Yet, through the strength, love, and powerful truth of Jesus Christ, we continue to come together in person and online, care for each other, and share Jesus’ love with the world.  We know it’s making a difference because many have expressed gratitude for things like the quality of our online worship, Trunk or Treat, God’s Grub, suicide prevention training, and so much more.

By God’s grace, you make this possible! Last year you gave $21,067.90. Thank you! That kicked off some awesome fundraising for the parking lot! Over the course of the next 7 months, you helped us raise an additional $43,000 to go beyond our goal! (All the while maintaining regular giving. We are so grateful!) The oldest section of our parking lot was torn out and replaced and there was enough to also patching other spots in the back as well as a little more to help repair the parking lot lights to increase safety at night.

To start us off this year, some generous donors have given $2,500 to match. When we reach $2,500, it will instantly become $5,000!

Thank you for giving and working together to bring hope! That is our ultimate goal: for people to hear of and experience Jesus through us and find life and hope through Him. That is WAY more important even than a parking lot!

Saron Lutheran church is located near the heart of Big Lake, MN.  Our lives have been stirred by the love of Jesus to live out our faith -- by nurturing hope and inspiration through relationships and community.  Bringing God's light and love into the world is an exciting privilege.  The hearts of the people we meet are so valuable in God's eyes and God surprises us over and over again in beautiful ways.  You will find the people of Saron out on the streets and in the community volunteering.  You’ll find them inviting the community into the Saron building on a regular basis for good food and beautiful friendship, monthly serving, on average, 130 people a fabulous, free meal at God's Grub. You'll find them donating time and resources to be with kids. Over 1000 people from the Big Lake community participated in Trunk or Treat!  And the children, youth, and adults of Saron learn and grow, worship, serve and support each other on an ongoing basis.

We do it because we have been loved and accepted and rescued, through Jesus Christ, by the God of love.  God is so good!  We are so thank-full. And we want the whole world to know!  As God works in and through us, others find a comforting presence, words of hope, a helping hand and renewed courage.  We hope you will consider donating to Saron Lutheran Church on this Give to the Max Day so our mission can continue to thrive and inspire.  Our ministries and people would be most appreciative.  God bless you!
