Through the strength, love, and powerful truth of Jesus Christ, we worship together. At Saron Lutheran Church we worship together in person and online, care for each other, and share Jesus’ love with the world. You make a difference in this world! All of your generous donations have made it possible to replace our old boiler, and now we look forward to replenishing our emergency funds as the maintenance of our building is ever flowing.

At Saron our mission is to be leaders in our community of Big Lake. Hosting community events like online worship, Trunk or Treat, God’s Grub, Mental Health Focus Groups, Youth Group, and so much more. Our love for God and our Community is so strong and we need you to help it continue to grow.

This years Give to the Max Goal is $20,000.  These funds will replenish our emergency fund (needed to replace the 40 year old boiler before the cold set in) and continued sanctuary improvements.

Saron Lutheran Church is a building, but inside these walls is a family. A family who take care of each other and our community. Please support us as we continue to spread God's word and mission in our amazing community.

To start us off this year, some generous donors have given $7,400 to match. When we reach $7,400, it will instantly become $14,800!

Saron Lutheran church is located in the heart of Big Lake, MN.  Our lives have been stirred by the love of Jesus to live out our faith -- by nurturing hope and inspiration through relationships and community.  Bringing God's light and love into the world is an exciting privilege.  The hearts of the people we meet are so valuable in God's eyes and God surprises us over and over again in beautiful ways.  

You will find the people of Saron out on the streets and in the community volunteering.  You’ll find them inviting the community into the Saron building on a regular basis for good food and beautiful friendship, monthly serving, on average, 130 people a fabulous, free meal at God's Grub. You'll find them donating time and resources to be with kids. Over 1000 people from the Big Lake community participate in Trunk or Treat yearly!  And the children, youth, and adults of Saron learn and grow, worship, serve and support each other on an ongoing basis.

We do it because we have been loved and accepted and rescued, through Jesus Christ, by the God of love.  God is so good!  We are so thank-full. And we want the whole world to know!  As God works in and through us, others find a comforting presence, words of hope, a helping hand and renewed courage.  We hope you will consider donating to Saron Lutheran Church on this Give to the Max Day so our mission can continue to thrive and inspire.  Our ministries and people would be most appreciative.  God bless you!
