South Asian Arts and Theater House

Our mission is to celebrate cultural diversity and social harmony in the community through the joyful medium of dance, performing arts, and related South Asian cultural traditions.

Help us achieve our goal to find a new home for SAATH. This fundraiser will help us achieve the following three goals -

• Lease our own dedicated space for dancing, rehearsals, and other cultural activities, instead of constantly depending on rental availability.
• Support our artists better, and pay for their time.
• Strengthen community connections through more events and workshops.

Since the beginning, we’ve relied on various rental spaces across the city for rehearsals and classes, limiting our ability to build a strong audience base and recruit performers. This lack of a permanent space has hindered our community outreach and program growth goals. 

With our own space, we could better support diverse art projects, including programs for kids, parents, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent individuals. It would allow us to host panel discussions, hold group meetings, and create a space for parents and children to engage in activities together. 

A permanent space would enable us to expand into dedicated children’s programs, offer a welcoming environment for all, and create a vibrant hub, where a diverse community gathers with energy and creativity, supporting arts for everyone. Our own space will allow us to be vibrant and loud, to be ourselves!
