Give to Royal Oaks to Support our Students!

Royal Oaks Elementary strives to support EVERY child's emotional, social, behavioral, and academic needs.  With over 500 students, we recognize that our students come to us with a variety needs.  This year in particular, we are noticing more and more students needing emotional support.   This could be because of the impact of COVID, trauma that they have had in their lives, racial trauma that they have experienced, and mental health concerns. 

We as a Royal Oaks staff want to learn more about trauma and racial trauma and how we can better assist our students' mental health.  Therefore, we are looking to have professional development this year presented by "experts" in the field of trauma and mental health.  We also want to be able to purchase adult and student books on trauma and mental health so that we can have these resources in our building to use in the future.  Your contributions are most appreciated!
