Since 1998 the Roseville String Ensemble has been a unique community string orchestra for Twin Cities musicians who enjoy playing in an ensemble and sharing music with others. After a year and a half's hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we're back in the concert hall!

We are the only non-professional string ensemble in the metropolitan area, and each year we perform three public concerts: a fall concert, a December carol sing-along, and a spring concert. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The ensemble plays music from a wide repertoire--from Baroque favorites to commissioned new works--and aims to entertain and enlighten. We reach out to our community in a variety of other ways, including small group performances at civic events and joint performances with young students. We also develop our players' skills with chamber music workshops.

This season we're performing fall and spring concerts (the carol sing is still on hold due to COVID restrictions on large-group singing).  Our next concert will be on April 10, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. at Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University (1531 Hewitt Ave, St Paul, MN 55104). Admission is free; donations are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Your donation will help the Roseville String Ensemble continue to bring enjoyable concerts to music lovers from Roseville and beyond. Please donate on Give to the Max Day this November 18!
