Rock County Historical Society

The Rock County Historical Society collects, archives and display the stories of the people, places and things of Rock County, Minnesota at the History Center in Luverne. The History Center houses exhibits of life in the county for early settlers and pioneers, a doll collection, and a permanent exhibit of over 4000 nutcrackers. The Research Area contains books, maps, photographs, obituaries, and articles about all aspects of life in Rock County, including history about each of the 10 communities. The History Center also contains a gift shop, The Christmas Haus.
