A community is only as strong as its public schools – and public schools are only as strong as the community’s support.  Robbinsdale Middle School (RMS) is a racially, ethnically, and economically diverse school that provides excellent education to approximately 960 adolescents in grades 6 – 8 from New Hope, Crystal, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center and Robbinsdale. 

RMS is an innovative school that prepares its students to be engaged citizens with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in the world today.   As an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school, students are provided with a broad base of knowledge, an international perspective and higher order thinking skills.

 We also recognize the importance of preparing our students with exposure to the skills and knowledge most needed in the future.  All students are part of STEAM. This means that students are exposed to the most needed 21st century skills through an integrated approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics through our Project Lead the Way: Gateway to Technology courses and our strong arts program.

We are doing great things at RMS, but budgets are tight.  Approximately 70% of our students qualify for free or reduced school lunch, so we need additional help from the community to achieve our fundraising goals!    Give to the MAX!!
