Provide the public with practical and useful information on how to reduce the likelihood of criminal victimization.
The Robbinsdale Crime Prevention Association (RCPA) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, which became incorporated on January 13, 1987. The organization was formed to provide crime prevention education, a reward fund, and "buy" money but has since evolved into much more.
The mission and purpose of the RCPA is to educate Robbinsdale residents about crime, crime prevention and safety in our community. The RCPA provides a forum for citizens to communicate with police about their crime and safety concerns.
The RPCA holds community meetings at the Robbinsdale Police and Fire Dept. Building at 4101 Hubbard Ave No. Meetings are always held at 7pm, on the first Wednesday in the months of: February, April, October and December.
During the summer months, the RCPA is actively participating and making appearances at community events.

- Christmas Tree Lighting - December

The RCPA does not receive any money from the city, state or police dept and relies on the generous donations from residents and community businesses. The organization is run exclusively run by volunteers.
Members played an important role in the success of the referendums required to build the new Public Safety Building. The statues in front of the Public Safety building are also a result of the RCPA's efforts.
