ReconcilingWorks: Lutherans for Full Participation

ReconcilingWorks is excited to celebrate PRIDE and our 50th Anniversary with you!

It is a blessing to have our ministry be connected with you.

Here is a quick glimpse of what supporters and volunteers have made possible in the past 50 years:

·  1,100 Reconciling in Christ Partners (13% of the ELCA)

·  The dedication that went into the historic 2009 Churchwide Assembly vote allowing LGBTQIA+ people to be OUT and Rostered

·  Working with thousands of volunteers over the past 50 years

·  Facilitating thousands of training sessions for tens-of-thousands attendees across the country and globe as we strive to deepen and expand our welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientation, gender identities, and gender expressions.

·  Lutherans made a tremendous impact in supporting the freedom to marry work that happened in states a decade ago.

Reading this list makes my heart overflow with joy and gratitude for those who make this ministry possible, and it inspires ReconcilingWorks leadership to see what we can achieve when we work together.

With your support ReconcilingWorks hopes to achieve the following in the near future:

·  Work closely and intentionally as the ELCA discern next steps for the Human Sexuality Gift and Trust Social Statement.

·  Reach 20% of the ELCA being a part of the Reconciling in Christ program.

·  Develop new and innovative resources to support Lutherans across the country.
