Discovery Charter School PTA

Discovery STEM Charter School's PTA is strong and effective, and with your financial support we exceed expectations!

Discovery Charter School is a brand new science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) school serving K-6 students with the goal of expanding to 7-8 grades in the coming year.  We are free to students. We are located in Inver Grove Heights and also serve surrounding communities, such as Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Newport, South St. Paul, West St. Paul, Rosemount, Eagan, Farmington, and Apple Valley.

Discovery Charter School’s mission is to prepare students to become excellent questioners, scientific thinkers and responsible citizens. Students work respectfully and collaboratively applying scientific, technological and mathematical concepts and principles to develop a strong work ethic and critical thinking skills needed to solve problems in the real world and to prepare them for future academic success in all areas of learning.

As a brand new school there are many things we are hoping to accomplish this school year!  Our main focus for the 2017-2018 school year is upgrading and re-opening the school library, building an outdoor classroom for our students, securing funds to purchase a new PA system for our school, and upgrading our school technology with the purchase of iPads and microscopes that work with our school Chromebooks. 

Discovery STEM Charter School's PTA is strong and effective, and we seek the help and support of our parents and community partners to build our school from good to great. Schools go from good to great with a strong network of parents supporting the teachers, staff and students. Help build our community! We are driving to get the word out about our school to all those parents looking for a better education alternative for their children!  We seek your financial help in this endeavor!
