Promise Neighborhood - Central MN

Promise Neighborhood of Central Minnesota is a community-led organization that provides services, support, and opportunities for families in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. We support families in achieving their self-identified social, academic, and economic goals. As an organization deeply committed to the Saint Cloud Community, we:

• Empower our community to act and speak on its own behalf  

• Serve students and families who are 85% BIPOC – and 90.5% are eligible for free and reduced lunch

• Cultivate year-round, holistic and culturally respectful programming for youth

• Assist families with finding resources and financial assistance to help create stability

• Provide 1:1 tutoring for math and reading to help bridge the education gaps in our community

• Provide meals to students to combat the limited access to healthy food options in Saint Cloud

• Create a safe & secure place for our community to learn and communicate 

• We also provide a food shelf to our families as our community has been designated as a food desert, meaning there is a lack of quality, affordable food and a lack of transportation options.
