Portico Healthnet helps low-income, uninsured Minnesotans enroll into health insurance, understand how to use the health care system, and access community resources.

Health insurance is complicated, especially for people who don't speak English fluently and/or have difficulty with technology. Minnesotans who are immigrants, refugees, experiencing homelessness or mental illness, soon-to-be released from incarceration, or without a high school education do not have equal access to health coverage and care.

Having affordable health insurance makes it more likely individuals and families will access health care when they need it. Never has this been more important than during COVID-19, when access to treatment saves lives.

Portico's multi-lingual, culturally competent staff offers free assistance to help people and families enroll in health insurance. Our staff are experts in determining health care coverage eligibility, and help families apply and enroll in affordable health insurance.
