"Is there anything that could give us more peace than to help our faithful friend pass from this life with the utmost love and care?"
Dr. Rebecca McComas
The confusion, heartache and uncertainty we have when confronted with a dying pet can create distressing memories for a lifetime. It doesn’t have to be that way.
We know that end-of-life care for our pets goes to the heart and spirit of the bond we have with them. We want their last days to be dignified and comfortable and enjoyed as much as possible. The range of professional services we offer reflects our vision of providing support for you the pet owner, and the best quality of life for your beloved pet until ‘the last beat of their heart.’
Pet owners view their pet as important members of the family. Consequently, they want the best care possible for their pets. Our vision sees Peaceful Passing for Pets, a home hospice program based on the model of human hospice, as a natural part of this continuum of loving care that pet owners desire for their pets.
VISION
Every pet with a terminal condition will have the opportunity to receive compassionate, coordinated hospice care in their home.
MISSION
To ensure that pet owners, the veterinary professional team and the hospice professional team are provided the resources and practical tools to accomplish our vision.
