Our mission is to direct your donation to the cats and dogs who need it most.

Our Story:

In January 2010, a volunteer from Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue (RLRR) sent Jill Goldstein a picture of an adorable dog that needed a home. He had been abused and abandoned. He lived in a church parking lot for three months, until he was rescued by RLRR. Jill adopted Oliver a few weeks later and he has been an amazing gift to her ever since. This experience introduced Jill to the world of animal rescue and in 2011 she transformed her passion for saving lives into a nonprofit called Pause 4 Paws.  

Pause 4 Paws is dedicated to directing funds to where they are needed most.  The fundraising focuses on:

• Funding spay/neuter clinics
• Donating pet food/supplies
• Paying for veterinary care, emergency surgeries, and dental procedures
• Educating communities on respectful treatment of their pets
• Assisting in rescuing cats and dogs in compromising situations

Pause 4 Paws financially assists those who rescue, feed, sterilize and care for overlookedhomeless cats and dogs. Pause 4 Paws fills the gaps in animal rescue. 

We are an all-volunteer organization and 100% of the funds we distribute go directly to the care and support of animals. To date, we have given thousands of dogs and cats a new leash on life.
