Help Park Square Theatre Inspire the Next Generation of Artists and Theatre Lovers!

This Give to the Max season, we’re focusing on what makes Park Square Theatre so special: engaging young audiences, creating access to the arts, and fostering future artists. With your support, we can bring the magic of live theatre to students and sustain our vibrant programming.

Our Goal: Inspire and Educate Through Theatre 

Park Square Theatre is committed to making theatre accessible to all young people, especially those in our community who may otherwise miss out. This year, we’re raising funds to support general operations, enhance our unique student matinee program, and expand our education initiatives.

Student Matinee Program: We’re proud to carry on our tradition of offering school matinees, a long-standing program featuring Romeo & Juliet and The Diary of Anne Frank in past seasons. For the 2024/2025 season, students will have the chance to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Between Riverside and Crazy—live, impactful shows that foster empathy, curiosity, and imagination.

• Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) students will attend free of charge, and we’re offering a special $5 ticket discount for other schools.
• Transportation support: We aim to cover bus costs to remove the transportation barrier for schools. Help us reach our goal of funding 10 buses to bring students to the theatre!

Support Youth Arts Engagement and Education

In addition to our matinees, your donation can provide young people with incredible opportunities to explore the arts through our theatre camps and programs designed to inspire creativity in youth.

Suggested Donation Levels: Your support will directly benefit students and programming. Here are some examples of what your gift can achieve:

• $50 – Cover art and craft supplies for creative learning
• $100 - Send a teaching artist to work in a school for an afternoon 
• $250 - Fund a student to attend a six-week session of classes 
• $500 – Fund transportation for a busload of students to a youth matinee
• $700 – Send one student to a full-day three-week summer musical camp 
• $1,800 – Sponsor a full student matinee for an audience of eager young learners
• $2,000 – Become a Costume or Scenic Sponsor, helping to create the magic on stage
• $5,000 – Fund an entire artistic team, empowering the creative forces behind each production
• $10,000 – Sponsor a full production and leave a lasting impact on our theatre and the young artists who look to it for inspiration
