Irish Robotics STEAM Team Inc

We are Irish Robotics, the Rosemount High School robotics team. As Irish Robotics, we strive to enable students to pursue an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. We compete in 2 competitions targeting students from 7th to 12th grade. FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and FIRST Robotics Competition  (FRC) both challenge students to build, code, and compete on alliances to complete the yearly challenges. Our team consists of a diverse group of students interested in STEAM, business, graphic design and competition. We pride ourselves in reaching out to younger students in our community and spreading the excitement of STEAM through outreach at business and other local schools and youth organizations.

The goal of the Irish Robotics program is to give students hands-on experience working with real engineers, so that engineers and scientists are seen as role models in the same way professional athletes are. Support of our team offers many benefits to the community. Local students will have the chance to learn and develop many new skills. They will be learning not only engineering and design skills, but will also be developing leadership, business, public speaking, coaching, and communication skills. We are looking to provide these students the necessary skills to become the next leaders in our community and beyond.
