Open Hands Midway, Inc.

Since 2009, Open Hands Midway, Inc., has been doing great work as a small nonprofit organization serving the Midway area of St. Paul, Minnesota.  

Nutritious meals and healthy food is a basic need of all.  But for those who are economically challenged there exists a food insecurity gap. Each meal served, and each bag of food given away by Open Hands Midway, brings hope to individuals and families struggling to put food on the table.

Open Hands Midway fills the food security gap by serving free noon meals and distributing food to those in need.  In 2021, Open Hands served 12,938 meals during twice weekly meal programs and gave away over 58,000 pounds of groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables.
