NRRC is overflowing with gratefulness and optimistic about the future of healthy urban living in North Minneapolis!

Be a part of the Northside’s sustainability transformation today!

NRRC is growing! Help expand the Demonstration Site for Healthy Urban Living with a gift that will directly support NRRC in building a community eco-studio space.

In August of 2019, we completed the renovation of a 100 year old home to become the new NRRC Headquarters. We are now in Phase II of our plan, implementing our Demonstration Site for Healthy Urban Living. In the past year, we have made significant progress on the site, thanks to your help!

Previous GiveMN donations have included the installation of a Little Library, essential fence repairs, and the creation of a permanent chicken run. Your support has also helped us maintain vital resources like our water cistern, rain garden, and vegetable patch, ensuring our space remains sustainable for everyone.

Our newest addition, the Community Studio, is a direct result of your ongoing generosity. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community.

This year’s Give to the Max Day is dedicated to our youth green team and their Demonstration Site Initiatives. NRRC has completed our community studio space, which will be the heart of community knowledge in healthy urban living. "Just as our headquarters transformed from an abandoned lot into a vibrant office space, the new studio will serve as a hub for community learning and collaboration. This initiative goes beyond gardening—it’s about developing leaders, fostering sustainability, and building a network of changemakers to grow healthier, stronger communities. Your donation helps continue to make this vision a reality.

With your support, we can provide a space for learning, creativity, and the building of meaningful connections

—thank you for your support!

We are Thankful for the progress and changes we have made thus Far, NRRC is proud of our Youth Green  Team. We’re excited for this spring as we kick off a series of workshops and community events in our Studio Space, including cooking classes, gardening sessions, and composting collaborations with local residents. We’ll also be expanding our vegetable gardens, growing both our green space and our connections within the community. Stay tuned for more opportunities to get involve.
