For over 30 years, Northern Clay Center has served the community through the art of clay. At NCC, you can learn to make pottery and sculpture, attend free lectures and workshops, view world-class exhibitions, and support clay education outreach in the state of Minnesota.

We commit to building equity in the field by engaging makers at all levels from diverse cultures, traditions, and backgrounds. We are confident that with your help, NCC will remain a leading force in the field of ceramic art and a focal point for artists, learners, and educators for years to come.

Our programs provide high-quality ceramic art experiences to thousands of young people in schools and community organizations through residencies, short workshops, and artist demonstrations; provide teaching opportunities and studio facilities to dozens of talented ceramic artists; introduce clay to hundreds of people ages 55 and over and hundreds of adults, kids, and families in our classes and workshops at our facility.

Here are a few examples of what your donation will help us achieve:

$120 Provide a 50% scholarship for a children's summer camp.

None of our efforts are possible without the very generous support from our members, donors, students, volunteers, visitors, and artists, who buttress the efforts of our staff and board through financial contributions, through volunteering of time, and through the sharing of knowledge and passion for the ceramic arts.
